Althon have recently supplied 85 metres of a bespoke stainless steel slot drain to the German Embassy in London.

We manufactured a bespoke stainless steel drainage channel with perforations to one side of the channel body. This was supplied with a stainless steel mesh grating suitable for pedestrian use.

We were charged with designing a drainage channel suitable for use in a terraced area. This meant the channel had to be extremely shallow but still effective at dealing with the surface water run – off.

Eel Pass Headwall

Eel Pass Headwall

Althon have designed and produced a special eel pass precast concrete headwall for an environmentally sensitive scheme.

We produced two headwalls and delivered them to the Contractor in just three weeks. The headwalls were lifted off the delivery vehicle and immediately installed.

Albert & William Wright Docks, Hull

Albert & William Wright Docks, Hull

Althon have been awarded the contract to supply 750 metres of our 400mm wide drainage channel to the Albert & William Wright Docks, Hull.

We are supplying the channel with a D400 load class ductile iron grating. All 750 metres will be on - site within 2 weeks of order placement. The first delivery was made just a few days after receipt of the order.

Ilsington River Conservation Centre

Ilsington River Conservation Centre

Althon have recently supplied precast culverts, wingwalls and header beams to Ilsington River Conservation Centre project on the banks of the River Frome.

Our precast units were delivered to schedule and budget, designed in cooperation with the Contractor and dramatically reduced the need to pour concrete near an open watercourse.

Althon Headwalls Gain Scottish Water Approval

Althon Headwalls and associated metalwork have been granted approval for use on SUDs features proposed for adoption by Scottish Water.
