SP20 M Headwall
SP20M precast headwalls are produced with wing walls 1400mm high at the front of the apron. SP20M precast headwalls are for inlets or outlets situated in locations with high or steep embankments or where the structure is required to provide protection to an accessory such as a flap valve, duck bill valve, stop logs or weir wall. SP20M precast headwalls have been designed to suit plastic, clay and concrete pipework up to 1500mm and have a backwall height of 2350mm. SP20 M precast headwalls are manufactured in 2 sections. Althon SP20M precast concrete headwalls are cast to suit the diameter and type of pipe being used and can be provided with fixings cast in at the time of manufacture to accommodate gratings, trash screens, flap valves, ladders, guardrails and flow and depth monitoring equipment.
SP20 precast headwall units can be factory fitted with a range of accessories such as flap valves, penstocks, Kee Klamp® handrails and a selection of gratings depending on the application. The SP20M headwall weighs 8100kg / 4050kg per half.
