| Stop Logs The facility to fit Stop Logs to our Headwalls is available. If you want to vary the level in a conduit or to stop flow for maintenance Stop Logs can be used. A channel is fitted to the inside of the Wingwalls to the required height and the Stop Logs slot into the channels. Stop logs are used to either control water levels or isolate parts of a channel or structure for maintenance. They are used where a Handstop of the same size would be too heavy. Manufactured from Aluminium, GRP or Composite they range from 50 to 100mm in thickness and are normally fitted into a stainless steel channel either side. They have an EPDM seal that seals against the adjacent log and the stainless steel channel to give a watertight seal. The Stoplogs vary in height so can be built up to the required height; locks are also available to secure the units in place once the required height is reached. We normally supply a 75mm thick Stop log with a galvanised channel either side with our Headwalls
