Althon have launched a range of Manhole Pipe Safety Chains.
Althon Manhole Safety Chains should be secured across the sewer pipe on the downstream side to prevent anyone being swept away whilst in the manhole.
Althon Manhole Pipe Chains comply with Sewers for Adoption 7th Edition and the Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry. Each kit comprises two Dynaset M8 Anchors, two M8 Eyebolts, two Carbine Snap Hooks and the requisite length of chain. Each kit is available in Galvanised Mild Steel or Stainless Steel.
