General Purpose Headwalls
Manufactured in GRC and provided with a unique anchorage system. A lightweight recessed headwall suitable for most situations where batter angle is not less than 45 degrees and for use in minor water courses with moderate flows.
Althon Small General Purpose Headwall GPSMALL
A one-piece glass reinforced headwall with an opening to suit 80mm diameter pipes and knockout webs to enlarge to 100mm and 150mm diameter pipes.
Althon Large General Purpose Headwall GPLARGE
A one-piece glass reinforced headwall with an opening to suit 150mm diameter pipes and knockout webs to enlarge to 225mm and 300mm diameter pipes.
Hinged galvanised steel gratings are available to fit any of the above GRC Headwalls. Please specify when ordering the headwalls to avoid having to drill the hinge points on site. Suffix G i.e. GPSMALL G.
Althon Headwall H3G
A one-piece glass reinforced cement headwall with an opening to suit 150mm diameter pipes and knockout webs to enlarge to 225mm and 300mm diameter pipes. The dimensions of the unit are as the PCC unit below with a reduced toe depth of 150mm and nominal wall thickness of 20mm.
Stainless steel sockets are provided for the attachment of gratings.
Althon Headwall H3C
A one-piece reinforced concrete headwall to suit Plastic or Clayware pipes up to 300mm I.D. or PCC pipes up to 225mm I.D. Lift points are cast in.
Althon Headwall H6C
A one-piece reinforced concrete headwall to suit Plastic or Clayware pipes up to 500mm I.D. or PCC pipes up to 450mm I.D. Available in three standard heights, 1m, 1.5m and 2m, with the lift points cast in.
Stainless steel sockets are provided for the attachment of gratings.
Special brackets are available for use with the anchorage system.
Althon Headwall H10C
A one-piece reinforced concrete headwall to suit Plastic, Clayware or PCC pipes up to 900mm I.D. Three standard versions are available with wing walls at differing angles.
Special lift points are cast in.
Brackets are available for use with the ground anchor system.
Althon Headwall H20C
This is a sectional structure with rebated joint, assembled on site around the drainage pipe and locked together by the means of stainless steel cast-in sockets and brackets provided. Special lift points are cast in.
The H20C Headwall is suitable for plastic, clayware or PCC pipes up to 1500mm I.D. (please refer to table below).
